Set on Bridge Road, Richmond, it’s all hanging greenery, exposed beams and those dramatic windows, with a grand staircase made for entrances and portraits. Super simple for guests, with easy access to public transport and ubers/taxis, plus some fun portrait locations closeby keep things super relaxed and enjoyable.


Ceremony and reception all in one location

Say “I do” surrounded by Glasshaus ferns, directly downstairs from the reception space, right on Bridge Road. There is an in-house sound system and beautiful natural light.


Reception: styled and seamless

Brücke comes fully dressed in Glasshaus greenery, with a commercial kitchen and fully equipped bar, easels for signage, and wheelchair access via an 8-person lift. Beautiful natural light, elegant timber furniture and more greenery (!) rounds the room out.

Where to get ready


Keep prep close (Richmond/Cremorne hotels or an apartment with big windows) for a calm morning and minimal travel. Maxine and Elias chose to get ready just around the corner, at the Motley Hotel.


Best photo spots (quick loop)

  • A quick loop around the block, which includes fun alleyways, a tram track, and some graffiti-ed walls.
  • Get creative using the (newly re-designed) upstairs bar.
  • The ferns and natural light of Glasshaus also act as a great backdrop for portraits.

  • Parking: 2-hr metered on Bridge Rd & surrounds; longer free parking on Kent St (7am–7pm, ~600 m); paid parking at Ace Parking, 1 Allowah Tce (~800 m).

  • How many guests can we host?

Up to ~150 seated / ~200 standing (layout-dependent). 

  • Can we hold the ceremony on site?

Yes—many couples marry at Brücke, or choose Glasshaus Outside for a daytime greenhouse ceremony before a Brücke reception.

  • What’s included?

Greenery styling, PA + handheld mic, easels, bridal suite, wheelchair access & lift, commercial kitchen, bar + glassware, heating/cooling, American-walnut tables and Bentwood chairs. As always, check finer details with the venue.
