Hi there, my name’s Daniel! If you’ve already had a look through my main About Me page, you might know a little about me already: I’ve been with my wife for 15 years, I have a fun and relaxed approach to wedding photography, and I firmly believe your wedding day should be spent celebrating with your family and friends—not stuck in an hours-long photoshoot full of forced smiles.

But there’s one particular part of my story that probably brought you to this particular page: Spanish-speaking. During my university days I spent three amazing years living in Mexico City. It was there, while working in marketing, that I fell in love with photography and videography. It’s also where I learnt to speak Spanish fluently — albeit with a Mexican accent (*shrug emoji*).

I know firsthand how stressful and difficult it can be to choose your wedding vendors. And when your family is bilingual or multicultural, there can be another layer to think about. You want your parents, your abuela and any guests travelling from overseas to feel completely included, comfortable and part of the celebration.

That’s where having a Spanish-speaking wedding photographer can genuinely make things easier. I can switch naturally between English and Spanish, organise family photos without confusion, chat with your guests and help everyone feel relaxed—without anything getting lost in translation.

¡Hola! Me llamo Daniel. Si ya le echaste un vistazo a mi página principal de “Sobre mí”, quizá ya sepas un poco de mí: llevo 15 años con mi esposa, tengo un estilo divertido y relajado al fotografiar de bodas, y creo firmemente que el día de tu boda debería pasarse celebrando con tu familia y tus amigos, no atrapado en una sesión de fotos interminable llena de sonrisas forzadas.

Pero hay una parte muy concreta de mi historia que probablemente te trajo hasta esta página: sí, hablo español. Durante mis años universitarios pasé tres años increíbles viviendo en la Ciudad de México. Fue ahí, mientras trabajaba en marketing, donde me enamoré de la fotografía y el video. También fue donde aprendí a hablar español con fluidez, aunque con acento mexicano ( ja 🤷🏻‍♂️).

Sé por experiencia propia lo estresante y complicado que puede ser elegir a los proveedores para tu boda. Y cuando tu familia es bilingüe o multicultural, hay otra cosa más que considerar. Quieres que tus papás, tu abuela y cualquier invitado que viaje desde otro país se sientan completamente incluidos, cómodos y parte de la celebración.

Ahí es donde tener un fotógrafo de bodas que hable español puede hacer que todo sea mucho más fácil. Puedo pasar naturalmente del inglés al español, organizar las fotos familiares sin confusiones, platicar con tus invitados y ayudar a que todos se sientan relajados, sin que nada se pierda en la traducción.
